Splendor In The Grass.

Watching this movie now... What a beautiful soul she was. What a natural.

What though the radiance which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind...

[edit]
May we all be inspired by her work. She was lovely to watch. And she died such a young death -- and the creepy thing is when asked what scared her the most, she'd said, "I'm frightened to death of the water." And bless her soul that this is how she died.

We must all pay close attention to what we put out into the universe -- because a fear that we speak of could be something we subconsciously create. I do believe this.

She truly gave inspired performances. Nominated for Academy Awards for both Rebel Without A Cause and Splendor In The Grass.

May we all LIVE our dreams out while we are young and healthy and passionate. May we all have our moments in the sun, our splendor in the grass.

Pray for these things -- put this out into the universe. And let's see what MAGIC we get back.

Love... Always.

  3. E, I did actually learn that her boat was named Splendour... Wow.

Why was she leaving that boat?

  7. Hey, just had an idea...

Have your rep(s) contact Tom Hanks' production company (Playtone) and see if American Tabloid is still a go for HBO. I think you could really sink your chops in to the Laura Hughes role (Bitsie, was born to play "Helen Agee")

    Seriously, do it.

Back. To. Minding. My. Own. Business.

  8. E, I have no reps at the moment. Hence... my frustration sometimes :(

But I will see what I can do -- and thank you SO much for thinking of me. It means a lot.

Make that: "Obama has FOX News. Kennedy had... Lee Harvey Oswlad."

[Oswald, was the one had by Jack Ruby]

Americana history gets me a bit over-excited. ;-)
